CVE-2013-1587 [LOW] CVE-2013-1587 wireshark: ROHC dissector crash (wnpa-sec-2013-06, bug 7679)
CVE-2013-1587 wireshark: ROHC dissector crash (wnpa-sec-2013-06, bug 7679)
A denial of service flaw was found in the way ROHC dissector of Wireshark, a network traffic analyzer, performed dissection of certain ROHC packet capture files. A remote attacker could provide a specially-crafted ROHC packet / packet capture that, when processed, would lead to tshark executable to crash, when trying to process the crafted packet / packet capture file.
