CVE-2013-1589 wireshark: Wireshark dissection engine invalid read / crash (wnpa-sec-2013-08, bug 8197)
A denial of service flaw was found in the way Wireshark, a network traffic analyzer, performed dissection of certain packet capture files. A remote attacker could provide a specially-crafted packet / packet capture that, when processed would lead to Wireshark's dissection engine crash due to dereference of an already freed pointer.
