An issue was discovered on Intelbras NCLOUD 300 1.0 devices. /cgi-bin/ExportSettings.sh, /goform/updateWPS, /goform/RebootSystem, and /goform/vpnBasicSettings do not require authentication. For example, when an HTTP POST request is made to /cgi-bin/ExportSettings.sh, the username, password, and other details are retrieved.

Detection & IOCsextracted from sources · hover to see the quote
- →Alert on unauthenticated POST requests to /goform/updateWPS, /goform/RebootSystem, or /goform/vpnBasicSettings — none of these endpoints enforce authentication on Intelbras NCLOUD 300 1.0. ↗
- →Monitor for Telnet (port 23) login attempts using the hardcoded credential pair root:cary on Intelbras NCLOUD 300 devices, as the exploit falls back to these after attempting credentials extracted from the config backup. ↗
- →Inspect HTTP response bodies from /cgi-bin/ExportSettings.sh for the string 'Login=' which indicates the plaintext credentials backup was successfully returned to an unauthenticated requester. ↗
- ·The vulnerability affects only Intelbras NCLOUD 300 firmware version 1.0; the unauthenticated endpoints are specific to this version. ↗
