Detection & IOCsextracted from sources · hover to see the quote

  • Monitor for unauthenticated inbound connections over IIOP and T3 protocols targeting Oracle WebLogic Server, as these are the attack vectors for this vulnerability.
  • Affected versions are 12.2.1.3.0, 12.2.1.4.0, and 14.1.1.0.0 — alert on WebLogic instances running these versions exposed to network access via IIOP/T3.
  • ·The vulnerability is exploitable via both IIOP and T3 protocols. Blocking or restricting access to these protocols at the network perimeter (firewall/ACL) for WebLogic servers is a key mitigation until patching.
  • ·This is remotely exploitable with no authentication required and no user interaction, meaning any WebLogic instance with IIOP/T3 exposed to untrusted networks is at critical risk of full server takeover.
