Detection & IOCsextracted from sources · hover to see the quote

  • The vulnerability is exploitable remotely over HTTP without authentication, targeting the Oracle Advanced Outbound Telephony User Interface component in Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.1–12.1.3. Detection should focus on unauthenticated HTTP requests to AOT UI endpoints.
  • The attack requires human interaction (e.g., a victim clicking a crafted link), suggesting a reflected XSS or similar client-side injection vector delivered via HTTP. Monitor for suspicious HTTP requests to Oracle E-Business Suite AOT UI paths that include script injection payloads.
  • The scope is changed (S:C in CVSS vector), indicating cross-component impact. Correlate AOT UI access logs with downstream data access anomalies across other E-Business Suite components.
  • ·Only Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3 are confirmed affected. Systems outside this range are not listed as vulnerable.
  • ·The vulnerability is specifically in the User Interface component of Oracle Advanced Outbound Telephony; patch guidance is available in Oracle's April 2020 Critical Patch Update.
