url/service/v1/service-details
  • Send an unauthenticated HTTP GET request to /service/v1/service-details; a vulnerable Ruckus IoT Controller will respond with HTTP 200, Content-Type: application/json, and a JSON body containing the keys 'message', 'ok', 'data', 'dns', and 'gateway'.
  • The vulnerable endpoint is a 'service details' API endpoint that discloses DNS/NTP servers, internal hostname, IoT Controller version, and potentially API keys/tokens — all without requiring authentication (CWE-306).
  • ·Affected versions are CommScope Ruckus IoT Controller 1.7.1.0 and earlier; the unauthenticated endpoint may be present on any version in that range.
