Summary: GlusterFS could be made to crash if it received a specially crafted
request.
It was discovered that GlusterFS incorrectly handled certain memory
operations. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to cause
GlusterFS to crash, resulting in a denial of service.

A flaw was found in Gluster, where GlusterFS is vulnerable to a denial of service caused by an xlators/cluster/dht/src/dht-common.c dht_setxattr_mds_cbk use-after-free. By sending a specially-crafted request, a remote attacker can cause a denial of service.
