golang.org/x/crypto/ssh: Denial of Service in the Key Exchange of golang.org/x/crypto/ssh
SSH servers which implement file transfer protocols are vulnerable to a denial of service attack from clients which complete the key exchange slowly, or not at all, causing pending content to be read into memory, but never transmitted.
A flaw was found in the golang.org/x/crypto/ssh package. SSH clients and servers are vulnerable to increased resource consumption, possibly leading to memory exhaustion and a DoS. This can occur during key exchange when the other party is slow to respond during key exchange.
Statement: While this flaw affects both SSH clients and servers implemented with golang.org/x/crypto/ssh, realistically the flaw will only lead to a DoS when transferring large files, greatly red

FAQ: Is Azure Linux the only Microsoft product that includes this open-source library and is therefore potentially affected by this vulnerability?
One of the main benefits to our customers who choose to use the Azure Linux distro is the commitment to keep it up to date with the most recent and most secure versions of the open source libraries with which the distro is composed. Microsoft is committed to transparency in this work which is why we began publishing CSAF/VEX in October 2025. See this blog post for more information. If impact to additional products is identified, we will update the CVE to reflect this.

Vagrant in Fedora does not ship and Go code. If it shipped, there would be `bundled()` provides as per guidelines. How can we prevent these false positives in the future?

Is there any info on what releases of x/crypto this is fixed in? I don't see anything relevant in here, Mitre, NVD or even the actual change page on googlesource.
