linux-raspi vulnerabilities
Qualys discovered that several vulnerabilities existed in the AppArmor
Linux kernel Security Module (LSM). An unprivileged local attacker could
use these issues to load, replace, and remove arbitrary AppArmor profiles
causing denial of service, exposure of sensitive information (kernel
memory), local privilege escalation, or possibly escape a container.

Summary: Several security issues were fixed in the Linux kernel.
Josh Eads, Kristoffer Janke, Eduardo Vela Nava, Tavis Ormandy, and Matteo

CVE-2025-40204 [MEDIUM] CWE-208 kernel: sctp: Fix MAC comparison to be constant-time
kernel: sctp: Fix MAC comparison to be constant-time
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sctp: Fix MAC comparison to be constant-time
To prevent timing attacks, MACs need to be compared in constant time.
Use the appropriate helper function for this.
Statement: SCTP compared MACs with memcmp(), leaking information via timing. A remote adversary could attempt a timing-oracle attack over the network to gradually learn MAC bytes, which is difficult in practice. The fix switches to constant-time crypto_memneq(), removing the side-channel.
