  • Monitor for a process named 'rasmanesc.exe' appearing in random system directories — this is the WebRAT dropper masquerading as a RasMan-related binary delivered via fake CVE-2025-59230 PoC repositories.
  • Detect WebRAT persistence mechanisms: Windows Registry modifications, Task Scheduler entries, and binary injection into random system directories.
  • Alert on the RasMan service (svchost hosting RasMan) crashing unexpectedly — a null pointer dereference in circular linked list traversal can be triggered by unprivileged users as a DoS precursor to EoP chaining with CVE-2025-59230.
